MSI X410 Notebooks Go Slim

I have previously mentioned that the MSI X600 ultraslim notebook is up for sale. Now a new member joined the X slim family, the MSI X410 slim notebook. This is will be a 14 inch notebook which is smaller than the previous 15.6 inch X600 notebook. X410 will also use the new AMD Athlon Neo processor. Other specs are listed in the following:msi x410

LG XPION X30 NetTop with NVIDIA Ion Platform Released

The ASUS Eee BOX EB1012 is the hottest NetTop computer, especially it is the first NetTop computer using the NVIDIA ION platform. Now LG debuts the all new LG XPION X30 with NVIDIA ION platform and new Windows 7 operation system. This LG NetTop uses Intel Atom 230 1.6GHz processor, 2GB RAM, and 250 GB hard drive.

HP Unveils The ENVY 13 and ENVY 15 Notebooks

HP announced many notebook products today like the HP Probook 5310m business notebook and HP mini by Studio Tord Boonjte. In HP ENVY 15 Notebookaddition to the previously mentioned notebook and netbook products, HP also introduced  the luxury ENVY series notebooks, the HP ENVY 13 and ENVY 15 notebooks.

The HP ENVY 13 and 15 notebooks are built base on the Voodoo Legacy notebooks (Voodoo 133 ultraslim notebook and Voodoo 152 notebook).  At the first glance, the HP ENVY notebooks are similar to MacBook pro because ENVY notebooks are using magnesium coated with aluminum materials.

The HP ENVY 13 notebook uses Intel Core 2 Duo processor. This luxury notebook also bring in the latest ATI’s Switchable Graphics technology that dynamically switches between ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 discrete graphics and the Intel integrated graphics processor. The screen used at the ENVY notebook is also top notch. The 13.1-inch HP Radiance LCD display claims to have 410-nit brightness and 80% color gamut. The maximum battery hours are up to 18!

The HP  ENVY 15 notebook uses the Intel Core i7 processor and a dedicated ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4830 graphics with 1GB video memory. The total RAM can be up to 16GB! The screen used is a 15.6-inch Brightview LED backlight display with up to 300-nits brightness.

Of course, the prices of this two high-end notebooks are very competitive: $1699 for HP ENVY 13 and $1799 for HP ENVY 15.

Lenovo X200 Tablet and T400s Notebook Get Multi-Touch Screen

Lenovo unveiled two new models for the Lenovo T and X series notebooks, the Lenovo T400s and X200 tablet with multi-touch screen. This is a move for Lenovo to welcome the coming Windows 7 which has the touch-capable interface.

The Lenovo X200 tablet has 12.1-inch WXGA display and only recognizes two-finger salute. Enhanced Multitouch WXGA LED Panel with Wide viewing Angle screen is used to enhance the visibility. The price of this Lenovo X200 tablet with multi-touch screen starts at $1654.00.

The Lenovo T400s uses the Core 2 Duo SP9400 2.4GHz processor. Other than the 12.1-inch multi-touch screen, the 14.1-inch screen can recognize 4-finger gestures. Both models are using the Lenovo SimplaTap control panel to easy control the commands with your fingers.

HP ProBook 5310m Business Notebook Annouced

HP announced the all new HP probook 5310m business notebook today. This revolutionary designed business notebook is the thinnest business notebook so far with only 0.9 inch thick. This notebook uses durable, black anodized aluminum with a magnesium frame wrapped in soft-touch paint. The screen size is 13.3″ and uses a series of powerful processors like Intel Celeron dual core and Intel Core 2 Duo. LED screen panel is used for this notebook which will increase the battery life a lot.

The HP Probook 5310m business notebook comes with the Intel Core 2 Duo SP9300 processor is listed at best processor is listed at $899 with new Windows 7 operation system and the one comes with Celeron processor is listed at $699. The quality of  HP’s home notebooks is just so so but HP’s business notebooks are super-duper.

Dell Adamo 9.99 mm Thick Ultraportable Notebook

Apple MacBook Air got possible killer now. Dell announced the new design concept of the Dell Adamo series ultraportable notebooks with only 9.99 mm thickness. That is way thinner than current Adamo notebooks’ 16.39 mm thickness and MacBook Air’s 19.3 mm. Design ultra-thin, ultraportable notebooks is an art. It is not simply to assemble different pieces of electronics together.

Dell’s new move to design 9.99 mm Adamo notebooks might trigger the new battles between notebook manufacturers to produce thinnest notebooks in the world. The details about the new 9.99 Adamo notebooks are still not clear yet. There is only one picture or art picture at www.adamobydell.com so far.

Current ultrathin notebooks that competing with MacBook Air are HP Voodoo Envy, Lenovo ThinkPad X300 and Dell Adamo.

DELL New Z Series Notebooks

Dell released the new Inspiron Z series notebooks several months ago. And now new features have added to the Dell Inspiron Z notebooks. Dell added Intel’s New CULV processors to the Z series notebooks to boost battery life and performance. This option is available for the Dell Inspiron 14z and 15z notebooks. Of course, customers can choose the Core 2 and Core 2 Duo processors as well. Both Inspiron 14z and 15z can have up to 500GB of storage, up to 8GB of RAM, and a choice of 4-cell or 6-cell batteries.

ASUS Introducies the UL Series Notebooks

ASUS introduced the all new ultra-portable UL series notebooks. UL stands for the unlimited. You will fall in love with these ultra thin notebooks. All of them relies on the Intel’s CULV platform.

The new UL series include several models like 12.1-inch UL20A, 13.3-inch UL30A, 15.6-inch UL50A, UL50Ag and the 14-inch UL80Ag. All these notebook have up to 4GB DDR3 RAM, up to 500GB hard drive, a DVD SuperMulti burner, webcam, and 1366×768 display. And ASUS also includes the Altec Lansing with SRS premium sound system. Thanks to the Intel’s ultra-low voltage processor the battery life can be up to 12 hours.
