HP got famous recently: the HP mini 311 powered by the new NVIDIA ION platform is confirmed to be released soon; the second generation Vivienne Tam netbook also got unveiled in the New York fashion week. The HP mini 110 designed by the Studio Tord Boonjte is a 10.1″ netbook is using the mercury-free LED-backlit display. At the same time, this HP mini 110 netbook will use a 92% of full-size keyboard which make the typing more comfortable. HP Imprint 3-D, HP’s first 3D PC surface technology will also be used in this netbook. This netbook is scheduled to be shipped for $399 on October 18, 2009 with Micrsoft’s latest Windows 7 operation system.

Averatec added a new netbook model to its Buddy line, the Averatec Buddy HS-102 netbook. This netbook has new look, stylish design but with old specs. Dell released two new 24 inch LCD display monitors today, the Dell Ultrasharp U2410 and ST2410 LCD monitors. One is high end for better color display and the other is low end for budget savers.
The Dell Ultrasharp U2410 is claimed to be the first 24 inch LCD monitor to cover both 100 percent of the sRGB color space as well as 96 percent of Adobe RGB due to its IPS (in plane switching) panel. The Ultrasharp U2410 has color calibration of its own and produces an astonishing 80,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio (1,000:1 static) with 12-bit internal color rendering. Photographers and graphic designers are going to love it.
The Dell ST2410 LCD monitor uses the TN panel and has relatively low 50,000:1 contrast ratio. Of course the price of the ST2410 is also much lower than the U2410 ($259 vs. $599).
Both U2410 and ST2410 have the standard VGI, HDMI and DVI ports.
