HP Pavilion dm1 CULV ultra-thin Notebook Leaked

Recently, lots of notebook manufacturers are interested in making ultrathin notebooks (Intel’s CULV processor based) with long battery life. HP is also planning on launching the Pavilion dm1, a CULV-powered ultra-thin notebook as we can see from a draft of HP’s Winter 2009/2010 consumer catalogue. From this leaked information we can see the specifications of this notebook are expected to be: 1366 x 768 LED backlit display, up to 5GB of DDR3 RAM, up to 500GB of storage space, 9 hours battery life, webcam, 5-in-1 card reader and three USB ports.

This HP Pavilion dm1 notebook is expected to launch on October 22nd along with Windows 7 Home Premium.

Dell Latitude Z 600 Business Notebook Released

The all new Dell business level notebook, the Dell Latitude Z 600, has been released now. The Dell Latitude Z 60 is a 16-inch notebook that equipped with a lot of new technical features with price starting from $1999.  The Latitude Z 600 offers Intel Core 2 Duo SU9400 (1.4 GHz) or SU9600 (1.6 GHz) processor, up to 4 GB RAM and dual Solid State drives with a 1600*900 display. Plus the Dell Latitude Z 600 also offers an optional wireless charging stand.

In addition, Dell also for the first time uses the Latitude ON technique for the Latitude Z 600 notebook, which is a whole separate ARM-based Linux system living inside the notebook.  The Latitude ON provides speedy access to contacts, Exchange email and the browser.

Another feature that incorporated in this Latitude Z 600 notebook is the 2-megapixel webcam with autofocus function which can be used to log users in via facial recognition, scan business cards and input details from them automatically into Outlook.

Toshiba Satellite T110/T115 Ultrathin Notebook with CULV Processor Unveiled

Toshiba announced the coming of a new 11.6″ ultra-thin notebook boosted by Intel’s CULV processors with the model number T110 or T115. This will be Toshiba’s first CULV-powered notebook with battery life of up to 11 hours.

The Satellite T110/115 notebook will be available in either a Intel Pentium or Celeron single core ultra low voltage processor. The T110/115 will support up to 4GB RAM and up to 500GB of storage space. In addition, the LED backlit display has a astonishingly high resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.

Other general specifications are: a multi-gesture touchpad, a webcam, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi (Draft-N), and a HDMI port. There are also a lot of colors to choose from like Precious Black, Iron Red Metallic and Luxe White Pearl. It will be available in October. Intel Core i7 is the fastest mobile processor in the market so far. The use of the Core i7 definitely will boost the speed of Dell Studio XPS 16 notebooks. For example, the new Intel Core i7 8200M 1.73GHz processor that boasts up oto 137% more performance over previous generation Core 2 Duo processors.

Toshiba Qosmio X500 Upgraded with Blu-ray, 1080p, and Core-i7

Toshiba announced today that the Qosmio X500, a 18.4-inch Full HD desktop-replacement notebook packing an Intel Core-i7 2.8GHz processor, Blu-ray burner and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 250MNV 1GB graphics. This Toshiba Qosmio X500 can be equipped with up to 8GB RAM and 500GB HDD. Toshiba uses 1920 x 1080 16:9 TruBrite display for this notebook as well.

Packard Bell dot m/u Netbook Released

The European version of the Acer Aspire Timeline 1810T/Aspire 1410/Gateway EC1803h is launched by Packard Bell today. The notebook is named as the Packard Bell dot m.u notebook. This Packard Bell dot m/u notebook is using the latest Intel’s CULV processor, up to 4GB RAM, Intel GMA 4500M HD graphics and up to 500GB HDD. The display is a 11.6″ 1366*768 widescreen LCD panel.

This dot m/u notebook also comes with a 5-in-1 card reader, a VGA webcam and WiFi support. Colors are available in “NightSky Black” and “Cherry Red”. The price tag for this notebook is 399 Euro.

Haier Jian i7 Notebook Unveiled

Haier, probably the most familiar Chinese consumer electronic manufacturer, is going to launch its own all new ultrathin Haier Jian i7 notebook. Due to its ultrathin character, this notebook will be boosted by Intel ULV processor. This notebook will be only 1.88 cm thick on average and weigh 1.4 kg.

Standard configuration of this notebook will be: 1.3GHz Intel core 2 Duo ULV SU7300 processor, 13.4 inch backlit LED, integrated Graphics, 2G DDR3 RAM, 320GB ROM, 3 USB2.0 ports, VGA port, HDMI port and a 4 cell 2900mAh Li-ion battery.
