ASUS is keeping up the pace with the release of new Windows 7 to its netbooks. ASUS Japan introduces three new Eee PC Seashell netbook models, 1005HR-WS, 1005HE-WS160 and 1005HE-WS250, all with the new Windows 7 Starter edition. All of the newly released netbooks are powered by Intel Atom N280 1.66GHz processor.

Other features are: 1GB RAM, GMA 950 graphics, 10.1-inch LED-backlight display. The ASUS Eee PC 1005HR-WS has a 250GB hard drive and an enhanced 1366×768 screen. The ASUS Eee PC 1005HE-WS160 and 1005HE-WS250 uses a 160GB and 250GB hard drive respecitvely.

Microsoft is offering the Microsoft® Windows 7 Home Premium or Microsoft® Windows 7 Professional for only $29.99. That is a great deal if you are using Windows Vista and want to switch to the new Windows 7 operation system.

Hercules, a Europe based computer manufacturer, has confirmed to release a new netbook product-the eCafe EC-1000W netbook. This netbook is already listed on the Amazon Germany website. Although most the netbooks in the market are using the super Windows XP home operation system, this eCafe EC-1000W netbook will be using the Windows 7 starter as the operation system.

This eCafe EC-1000W netbook is a 10 inch  netbook with currently popular specs including a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, 1GB of RAM, 1.3 MP webcam and 160GB hard drive. The netbook uses a 6-cell Li-Ion battery. The price of this new netbook is 349 Euros ($497).
